Duet Singing
- For doubles and mixed doubles events only one person has to register on behalf of duo for the event.
- No Registration fees.
- Participants must complete Basic Registration to take part in the event. Any style or language is welcomed.
Rules
- Karaoke tracks are allowed, have to be at least of a bitrate of 320kbps and in mp3 format.
- The karaoke track is to be brought by the participant in a PEN DRIVE. Tracks sent on WhatsApp/ telegram/ mail or by any other means will not be entertained.
- Song must be decent
- Finals will be on 20 March from 5 pm.
- Both undergraduates and postgraduates are allowed.
- There are certificates for participation as well.
- ONLY vocal quality will be judged and not that of the karaoke.
- Time limit: 5 minutes (from start of track/instrument).
Judgement Criteria
- Voice Quality -20; How well the song suits the singer's voice, whether the singer has done justice to their choice.
- Technique -20; Power, control, vocal acrobatics.
- Pair Dynamics Synchronization, harmonies, chemistry.
- Stage Presence - 20; Emotive ability, audience connect, impact.
- Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
