Group Singing
Registration Process
- Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
- Open for all undergraduates and postgraduates.
- No Registration fees
- Participants must complete Basic Registration to take part in the event.
- Time limit: 25 (20+5) minutes including sound check.
- Western songs are allowed.
- Maximum participants on stage from a team during a song can be 10. Participants can be changed after a song.
- No overlapping members allowed in different entries.
- No instruments will be provided.
- No guitar processor will be provided. Input leads from the guitar to the processor to be brought by the band itself.
- Finals will be on 20 March 2024 ,5 pm onwards.
- Decent song selection
Judgment Criteria
- Vocals- 20; Accuracy, range, technique and rendition.
- Instruments- 20; appropriate use of and creativity with instruments and sounds.
- Synchronization- 15; How well the individual elements complement each other.
- Versatility- 15; Display of ease with different styles of music.
- Stage Presence- 20; Formation, movement, showmanship.
- Crowd Reaction- 10; crowd engagement and reaction.
- Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
NOTE: SYNAPSE 2024 team holds the right to change the rules at any point in time.
Winners (Winner and 1st runner-up) will be awarded prizes!
